Welcome to the 8-2 team! I'm Beth Nash. This begins my 17th year of teaching middle school. I've taught all three grade levels and all four subjects. I have a Bachelor's degree in math, a Master's degree in middle school mathematics, and am a National Board Certified Teacher for middle school math. I am certified to teach middle and high school math and middle school science.
I grew up in Asheville, where I married my college sweetheart, Andrew, who is a geotechnical engineer. We have two awesome kids - Isabelle is 9 and Charlie is 6 - and two naughty puppies, Jack and Sam.
In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, read, and shop.

Hello! I am Angelina Jennings. I’ve been teaching for 17 years and this is my third year at WLMS.
I earned a Middle Grades Education degree from NC State University and I am certified to teach middle school language arts and social studies. I also have a Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction. I've taught language arts and social studies in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.
I was born in NC, but my father was in the military, so I attended a new school every two to three years (in a different state or country) while I was growing up. To this day, I love to travel and explore new places with my family. I also love, love, love to read!
My husband’s name is Chris and we’ve been married for 21 years. I also have two beautiful daughters. Kinsey is 12 years old and Delaney is 10.

Hi, my name is Kathryn Aguiar! This is my second year teaching and my first year at West Lake! I earned my Bachelor's degree in Social Science Education from Florida State University (Go Noles!). While there, I also earned a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate. After graduation, I taught English in Brazil for six months before starting my teaching career in the states. I am certified to teach middle and high school social studies as well as middle school math.
I was born and raised in Miami, Florida, but moved to Tallahassee to attend college. It was there that I met my sweet husband, Vitor and we dated for four years before getting married in June 2016. We moved to Raleigh so he could pursue his graduate degree in Forestry.
When I'm not teaching, you can probably find me running, reading, crafting, or eating Chick-Fil-A.
